The State Federation of Democratic Women will be having their Fall meeting on October 24 at the Fishers Public Library. This will be hosted by the Local Women's organization. This should be a large meeting with special guest speakers. More details will be coming later. Volunteers will be needed, so save the day.

We are still collecting canned goods for the food banks in Hamilton County. This started with a request for a day of service from the Obama inaugural committee. Our group decided that a day wasn't enough, that we wanted to continue throughout the year because of the condition of the economy. Non-perishable foods may be brought to any Women's Group meeting .
